Estuary Housing Association wishes to appoint a single supplier to provide external audit services and tax advisory services. To ensure impartiality and integrity when carrying out work in relation to external audit services.

The external audit services will:

— provide assurance to the board on the quality of financial reporting and if the statutory accounts represent a true and fair view of the company and group;

— sign off financial statements in-line with legislative and agreed management timescale;

— sign off that the executive summary and value for money statement (VFM) are accurate and correlate with the financial statements;

— assure estuary are reporting financial statements in accordance with the latest United Kingdom (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Standards) Accounting standards guidelines and latest social housing statement of recommended practice (SORP).
