The Nordland Hospital's Intensive Care Unit performs treatment and care of patients from all clinical departments of the entire Nordland Hospital, the inhabitants of Nordland fylke (county) and the North Norway Regional Health Authority.

The unit consists of the following: intensive, post-operative, paediatric recovery and adult recovery. Our patients are acutely critically ill patients and newly operated patients.

The Intensive Care Unit needs to replace the existing intensive care beds as part of the department's continual process with replacement of older equipment.

In this connection, the Nordland Hospital wants to take into account future needs by establishing a framework agreement for the purchase of intensive care beds.

The competition will be held according to the Law on Public Procurements and Part III of the Regulations.
