Within the framework of outpatient specialist medical care according to § 116b SGB V (ASV), the operation of a nationwide service center including a database is required (www.asv-servicestelle.de).
The task of this service point is to enable ASV teams (or their representatives) to register and maintain the data, to assign ASV team numbers and to cooperate and exchange information with third parties (including associations of statutory health insurance physicians, state associations of health insurance funds and substitute funds, state hospital companies and extended state committees) and ASV teams.
The billing itself is not part of the task. Only formal examinations are expected from the service centre.
The task of the ASV service point requires, among other things, direct communication with ASV teams as well as the above-mentioned third parties via a web application to be developed and telephone/written exchanges. The web application is also intended to inform the public about the offers of the ASV.
The data to be managed contains personal and social data, therefore the complete service must be provided within the scope of the European Union, the Agreement on the European Economic Area, Switzerland or in a third country, provided that an adequacy decision pursuant to Article 45 GDPR has been made and the conditions resulting from the adequacy decision (such as required certifications) are also met.
The ASV service centre advertised here is to start its activities on 15 March 2024 with the development of the infrastructure and the data transfer from the current service provider and to start regular operation at the end of the current contract from 1 July 2024.
The contract has a term of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. For further information, please refer to the service description.
