The University Hospital Tübingen (hereinafter referred to as awarding authority) intends to relocate the MTA School from its current location to the building in Waldhörnlestrasse 22 in Tübingen-Derendingen.
Actual state of the building:
The building has a basement, which is only about 2/3 in the area, a ground floor and an upper floor over which a part of the technology is housed in the roof. The building structure is an H-type with central entrance and each side wing a staircase. The storey development is via a middle corridor with rooms on both sides. Rooms in the size of about 19 m
Conversion / Integration MTLA School:
A spatial adaptation of the building for the interests of the MTA school is possible with modifications in the area of expansion and home automation. Due to the necessity of seminar rooms or training rooms up to 100 m
Insofar as the laboratory was used in the existing rooms, the laboratory-specific media will be dismantled back into the ceiling or, if these can continue to be used, they will be rebuilt accordingly.
An exact inventory is still required here!
The remodeling focuses the MTA school on the right wing of the building (east wing), as well as the center of the building.
Through existing or newly installed fire doors in the hallways, the MTA school can be well separated from the other users.
On the ground floor to the garden side, the student lounge with garden access is planned, the central lounge in the EC is also shared by the school.
On the east side of the ground floor, three seminar rooms of external users have been newly renovated, whose focus is outside the teaching hours of the MTA school, but which can also be used by the school.
The toilet facilities in the planned school area are sufficient, but can not be offered for both sexes toilet facilities on each floor.
Now that the other users of the building do not have to use any necessary toilet facilities, 1 WC unit must be retrofitted or converted per floor in the other building wing.
The autoclave room is located on the first floor near the laboratory. Here, the room should be on the outside wall, with the possibility of supply and exhaust air on short ways. Nevertheless, it has to be checked whether an additional ventilation system is necessary due to the high heat development.
In addition, the IT infrastructure is to be renewed throughout the building.
Similarly, the fire alarm system (nationwide, full protection) retrofit and adapt.
Task description:
Planning of 5 classrooms with all ancillary rooms + autoclave. All the necessary connections to the laboratory furniture, large appliances such as workbenches, hazardous substance cabinets, chemical fume cupboards, etc., including all connections and supply lines for furniture for storage, etc., including all media and building services, are to be planned. Likewise, the autoclave with all the necessary accessories to plan. The equipment requirements can be found in the list and the room book in the appendix. Likewise, the computer room, all other seminar and course rooms, the offices and all ancillary rooms must be equipped with the appropriate media. The system technology must be partially renewed. This applies primarily to the ventilation systems and the refrigeration systems - these correspond due to the year of construction partly no longer the valid standards. The hot water tank has significant deficiencies and must be replaced.
The still extinguishing water pipes (wet) do not meet the requirements of hygiene and fire protection regulations and must be replaced by dry extinguishing water pipes. Fire protection adjustments are required for all trades. The electrical systems are also to be completely dismantled and renewed - including upgrading the IT infrastructure.
