1.1. The subject of the contract is winter maintenance of roads, parking lots and communication routes in the 2023/2024 season.

1.2. The state of readiness for winter maintenance in the period from 15 October 2023 to 15 April 2024 is determined.

1.3. The works referred to in point 1.1, in the period from 15 October 2023 to 31 October 2023 and from 01 April 2024 to 15 April 2024, will be started each time at the express request of the Contracting Authority and the Contractor will start work within 2 hours of receiving the order.

1.4. The scope of the subject of the contract referred to in point 1 includes:

a) maintaining constant readiness for winter maintenance through: continuous tracking of the weather forecast, constant round-the-clock readiness of personnel and specialized equipment to carry out winter operations, providing material for winter maintenance;

b) equipping the equipment used for the performance of the contract with GPS devices, together with

providing the Ordering Party with round-the-clock access (monitoring) to the operation of the equipment for the duration of the contract;

c) mechanical and manual maintenance of roads and squares in continuous passability together with

with adjacent elements, i.e. sidewalks, stairs, driveways, parking lots, bus stop bays and pedestrian and bicycle routes, through:

- snow removal on days of precipitation,

- combating slush, ice and glacier with the use of measures in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment

of 27 October 2005 on the types and conditions of use of products which may be used on public roads and streets

and squares,

- ongoing removal of icicles and residual snow threatening safety,

from bus shelters,

- maintaining the cleanliness of roads in the event of favorable weather conditions, i.e. removal of residual sand from the areas covered by the contract

and other roughening materials after the completion of snow removal and slippery slopes in the areas covered by the contract.

1.5. Before the start of the winter maintenance action referred to in point 1 and after its completion, the Contractor is obliged to notify the Ordering Party by phone each time.

1.6. The Ordering Party may suspend works after receiving notification from the Contractor if it deems it unnecessary to start works related to winter maintenance,

referred to in point 1. A detailed description is set out in Chapter II of the SWZ.
