For the economic reorganization of the South-West Hospital Network, the Böblingen and Sindelfingen clinic locations will be merged into a new building on the airfield site in Böblingen. According to the task, it was necessary to unite the medical concerns of a large hospital with its close functional relationships with the urban context, based on the results of the urban planning ideas competition. The references to Böblingen station / city center, as well as the urban development guiding idea and urban development should be seamlessly taken into account and integrated into the planning area in the planning. A house with about 700 beds and 15 operating theatres (of which 2 are reserve areas) is planned.
