The client is an energy supply company based in Offenbach am Main. The client operates a waste-to-energy plant (MHKW) in Offenbach for district heating and electricity generation.
As part of this tender, we are awarding the execution of boiler overhauls in the Offenbach waste-to-energy plant for 3 incineration lines with a thermal output of 28 MW each without the refractory work, for a period of 3 years with an extension option for a further 2 years.
The service to be awarded includes the responsible implementation of the boiler overhauls in the Offenbach waste-to-energy plant with 3 incineration lines with a thermal output of 28 MW each without the refractory work. Simple boiler tubes up to a quality of 16 Mo3 are installed on the pressure part of the boiler, so that no annealing treatments are necessary. The superheater 3 and the fin tube walls of the combustion chamber are coated with cladding made of Alloy 625. All work on the boiler pressure part must be carried out and documented in accordance with the requirements of EN 12952 for water tube boilers. According to regulations or non-destructive tests required by the TÜV (e.g. radiographs or crack tests) are to be commissioned or carried out by the contractor.
