The main purpose of this tender is the provision of Data Analytics services for the implementation of the Data4Safety programme — the European Big Data Analytics Platform for aviation safety.

The Data Analytics Provider is responsible for providing the expertise and methods of data analysis. It will analyse inputs provided by data providers and support task team analysis. Thus, it will work on Use Cases defined by the D4S Technical and Steering Board, with aviation experts but also with data scientists from industries or other stakeholders and also from research partners.

The main services which are expected from the Data Analytics Provider (DAP) are described in the tender specifications and below under section II.2.4.

The main services which are expected from the Data Analytics Provider (DAP) are the following:

— Support the overall data management of the D4S Programme,

— Develop and deliver methodologies and algorithms (which is the core task) to support the implementation of the Programme’s Use Cases chosen by the Steering Board and the Technical Board,

— Analyse input from data providers,

— Support Task Team analysis,

— Support interpretation and reporting of results to the Technical Board and make recommendations for publication and follow-up,

— Ensure the algorithms and methodologies comply with the D4S Programme data security and processing rules.
