The sponsor St. Marien Stift Friesoythe gGmbH operates the St. Marien Hospital in Friesoythe with 115 inpatient beds and around 6,000 cases of basic and standard care in the Cloppenburg region. The aim of the construction project is to improve patient care by converting and expanding the central operating theatre, intensive care and general care with infection care and sterile goods processing. Furthermore, the treatment and accommodation for obese patients is to be improved. The planning provides for an operating theatre extension as well as the expansion of the care on the floors above. The expansion of intensive care and sterile supply takes place during ongoing hospital operations in the portfolio. Part of this tender are the earthwork, concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry work.
