Sanitary engineering:
The Hanseatic city of Buxtehude intends to build a sports hall as a replacement building at the integrated comprehensive school (IGS) school site. The new sports hall is planned as a 3-field hall in combination with a 2-field hall. The construction project is to be awarded a sustainability certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in the “Gold” category.
After completion of the preparatory work on the site, the sports hall will be erected with a supporting structure made of reinforced concrete columns and steel trusses. The hall space of the triple sports hall will be equipped with a spacious grandstand system and the roof of the three-field hall will be greened with roofs.
