The objective of this study is to provide an external and independent analysis. The study shall be a fact-based analysis identifying, analysing and measuring the key socio-economic benefits of the Clean Sky 2 Programme and its wider impact on the competitiveness and growth perspectives of the European aviation industry.

A successful tenderer will have to provide a study focusing on the socio-economic analysis covering the following aspects:

— assessment of the socio-economic impact of the Clean Sky 2 Programme, and more specifically the real and projected attainments of the second part of the Programme,

— assessment of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and providing an updated on the evolution of the aviation industry,

— development of a future research investments in the aviation sector, taking into account any potential scenario and developing models for the evolution of the aviation system.
