Supply and installation of Sustainable Drainage Solutions including slow drain water butts, sustainable drainage planters, and smart water butts for household and non-household properties in East Sussex and Kent regions under a Framework by Southern Water services.
Southern Water - Clean Rivers and Seas - Slow the flow, Supply and installation of Sustainable Drainage Solutions to Household and Non-household properties. Southern Water services intends to enter into a Framework for the provision of products to slow the flow of rainwater from domestic and commercial roofs into Southern Water’s combined sewer network including the customer engagement and installation of these products. This will include a range of slow drain water butts, sustainable drainage planters and smart water butts. Lot 1a – Customer Engagement, supply and install Slow the flow Sustainable Drainage Solutions East Region (West Reserve) Suppliers will carry out customer engagement to arrange for connectivity surveys and the following supply and installation a range of slow drain water butts and sustainable drainage planters at Household and Non-household properties across East Sussex and Kent.
Supplier will also act as a reserve suppler for the West Region (lot 1b) should the incumbent not be able to meet demand. Lot 1b – Customer Engagement, supply and install Slow the flow Sustainable Drainage Solutions West Region (East Reserve) Suppliers will carry out customer engagement to arrange for connectivity surveys and the following supply and installation a range of slow drain water butts and sustainable drainage planters at Household and Non-household properties across East Sussex and Kent.
Supplier will also act as a reserve suppler for the West Region (lot 1a) should the incumbent not be able to meet demand. Lot 2: Supply and Installation of SMART solutions Supply and installation of Smart water butts across the Southern Water region. These should regulate the water level within the water butt automatically to ensure the maximum amount of attenuation is available before forecasted storms. Water butt should hold a minimum of 200L or the controller should be able to be retro fitted to a range of sizes.
