After completion of the 2nd BA in December 2020 - an increase and reorganization of the nursing area in the West Ward - the 3rd BA is to be implemented after the approval notification for funding from the State of Lower Saxony has been issued. The West ward block is to be completed with the implementation of BA 3.

With the planned measure, the hospital is to add a ward extension (approx. 4,500 m 2 GFA plus conversion area according to annex) can be expanded and renovated. A 6-storey extension plus a basement and technical center to the existing West ward block is planned. The architectural conception of the extension and the connection to the existing stations should correspond to the existing extension. The technical center is arranged in a lightweight construction on the roof.

In addition to the information under II.1.4:

A spatial program approved by the Ministry of Social Affairs for the planned expansion is available and should serve as a basis for the design. For this purpose, a coordinated expert opinion on the bed and area analysis with room allocation plan will be attached to the offer documents.

The planning-accompanying consultation with the NLBL Hanover for the preparation of the construction application documents (HuBau) is planned shortly after the conclusion of the contract.

For this purpose, in a first step, the services of property planning and technical building equipment are to be awarded as general planning services in one lot (lot 1). At the same time, the structural planning services, including the thermal building physics services, but without noise protection, are awarded in a separate lot (lot 2).

The details of the planned project can be found in the other technical documents that are made available to the suitable companies selected after the end of the competition with the invitation to submit an offer. A prerequisite for this is also the submission of a confidentiality declaration in accordance with the form that is attached to the tender documents.

With the present award, the services of the service phases 1 to 4 are tendered. It is intended that the award will also be made for the service phases 5-8. The client assumes that the funding will be approved for all service phases. However, if the funding agency does not approve the funding for the entire measure in whole or in part, this can lead to a complete or partial cancellation of this tender or a change in the advertised service. In this case, claims of the applicants or bidders against the client are excluded. This also applies in the event that the tender has to be canceled due to any requirements in connection with the corona pandemic or the scope of services has to be changed.
