Lifts Consultancy, Maintenance, Refurbishment and Associated Installation Services, This agreement will be open to universities and their partners regardless of whether or not they are to be defined as contracting authorities for the purpose of the PCR 2015.
It is possible that some of the future call off contracts under this framework may be part funded from external streams, including European Union (EU) funding and (ERDF/ESF) and potentially other research bodies. All funding assessed under this framework will be considered compliant for the purposes of external funding by the named participants.

Lifts Maintenance, Refurbishment and Associated Installation Services
For clarity this lot is divided into 7 regional areas through England, Wales and NI. A maximum of 5 companies will be awarded to each region. Bidders may bid for one, multiple or all regions. If bidders are successful in being awarded to more than one region this will not increase the intended number to be awarded.
The tender evaluation process will score all tenders against the regions they wish to service. It is possible, depending on the level of interest and quality of tender submissions for each region that award to supply 1 of the regions does not guarantee award to supply to any other.
Should there be a significant break point in scoring of 5% or more, NEUPC reserves the right to proceed with a lower number of Bidders for all or any Lot(s).
Lot requirements include but are not limited to:
•Service to encompass and ensure compliance with LOLER Regulations
•Maintenance, service, alterations and inspection requirements for all passenger, goods, platform, and stair lifts as required.
•Specification for quoted works for repairs, upgrades, and new installation.
•Contractual ‘Service Availability’ of the Institution’s schedule of lifts, lift type and individual lift.
•Faults call out requirements including repair, parts, alterations and inspections for all passenger, goods, platform, and stair lifts as required.
•Emergency release of trapped persons requirement and other emergency call outs for all passenger, goods, platform, and stair lifts as required.
•Rectification of defects found by a third-party consultant or insurance inspector.
•Auto-dialler installation and regular testing of Autodial alarms of lift cars

Lifts Projects Consultancy
This lot is awarded for National Coverage with anticipation being to award to a maximum of 5 bidders.
Should there be a significant break point in scoring of 5% or more, NEUPC reserves the right to proceed with a lower number of Bidders for all or any Lot(s).
Lot requirements include but are not limited to:
Lift consultancy services including site surveys, design, specification, preparation of tender documents, technical and financial tender evaluation; project management (where required), progress meetings, progress inspections of site works, witness testing; checking project handover information for various new lift installations and modernisation of existing lifts.
