A multi-station machine with reliable and repeatable testing of both hip and spinal implants, which will provide replacement hip joints and intervertebral discs. The Machine shall be both cost effective and generate wear and friction data under realistic in-vivo simulated conditions with electromechanically driven axes. The machine shall be capable of following anatomical loading, applied via acetabular cup and femoral head. Be able to deliver precise, reproducible and accurate micro separation (hip joint). Simulator shall fully meet the requirement of ISO-14242-1 (2012) and ISO 18192-1 (2011).
