The framework agreements will provide Utdanningsdirektoratet (the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training) access to qualified consultants for specific areas of competence, on agreed terms, in a resource- and time-saving manner for the Utdanningsdirektoratet (the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training).
Parallel framework agreements will be signed with five service providers.
The consultants shall assist in digitising and increasing the efficiency of Utdanningsdirektoratet's (the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training) existing processes, services, tools, and systems, both internally in the organisation and vis-à-vis the sector. The framework agreements shall also include the establishment, access to and configuration of cloud services, as well as the purchase of third-party software. The framework agreements shall be a tool for the IT department’s work and liability area. All the divisions in Utdanningsdirektoratet (the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training) shall have the option to enter into framework agreements.
The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training has at all times many ongoing IT projects related to development, upgrading or renewals. The system owners in the departments need consulting services that support system development and management in their special fields. The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training also needs studies and preliminary projects to build competence and/or to study and establish new IT initiatives.
The framework agreements shall cover the constant need that the Directorate of Education has for IT consultancy services, from short-term assignments to administrative tasks, system development and strategic advice.
The framework agreements should cover most of the Directorate’s need for IT consultants in the period of the framework agreements. However, the agreements are not exclusive.
