The subject of the service on the basis of a framework agreement is the supply of specialist literature (loose-leaf works, online licenses, journals, books). The contractor must ensure that the specialist literature requirements of the approximately 5,000 employees at currently 23 locations (nationwide) and the specialist literature requirements of the university library (reference library) of the client at the location of the head office in Kassel are fully covered. In addition to the deliveries and provision of specialist literature, customary commercial services must be provided.

The maximum value of the framework agreement is € 2,015,500.00 net.

The contractor provides the central organization of the literature to be delivered and its ordering and administration as well as complete monitoring, documentation and continuous updating of all references.

Furthermore, a web-based online portal solution hosted by the contractor for the use and administration of online subscriptions with individual assignment of usage rights by the Central Library (administrator) at the Kassel site and corresponding license and user management will be provided.
