As part of the implementation of the 2nd expansion stage of the heat strategy 2020, the Greifswald municipal utilities are planning to build another IKWK plant (innovative combined heat and power). As part of the 2nd expansion stage, an IBHKW module (approx. 4.5 MW el.) will be erected in conjunction with a large heat pump system (approx. 2 MW thermal). The large heat pump system is expected to be designed as a combination of several air/water and water/water heat pumps in a modular design. A new plant building is to be built for the water/water heat pumps, the air/water heat pumps will be built outdoors. The IBHKW module is to be installed in the existing turbine hall. The turbine hall conversion required for this is part of the 2nd expansion stage of the 2020 heat strategy. In addition, the project includes transformers for the CHP module and the associated control technology for controlling and regulating the new plants, including the connection to existing plants. Another use
Machine technologySystem connection of the CHP floor air to existing buildings and installation of a large heat pump, consisting of:
- Large heat pump system including control and peripherals
- ventilation system in the heat pump building
- Heat extraction heat pumps
- Connection to district heating networks for all heat generators
- Boddenluft CHP plant ventilation system
The order includes delivery, assembly and commissioning as well as maintenance contracts as part of the deliveries and services.
