Scope of supply

All quantities and pick-up rates are estimated and are not binding on the Contracting Authority. The supplier is not entitled to a correction of unit prices, compensation or other reimbursement if the actual consumption differs from the estimates stated in the tender basis.

The collection of waste takes place at "Customers", which includes the following: Pharmacies, as well as public and private companies in the owner municipalities, which must have medicine residues and clinical risk waste collected and submitted to SMOKA. The owner municipalities are: Albertslund, Ballerup, Brøndby, Dragør, Egedal, Frederiksberg, Frederikssund, Furesø, Gentofte, Gladsaxe, Glostrup, Gribskov, Halsnæs, Herlev, Hillerød, Hvidovre, Høje-Taastrup, Ishøj, Copenhagen, Torgby-Torgby, Lyngby and Vallensbæk.

A total number of Customers of 400-500 is expected, but this is only an expected estimate which is not binding. SMOKA coordinates pickup locations and times, and SMOKA tries to coordinate to optimize the Supplier's work and pickup. SMOKA tries to divide pick-up with the customers by week, so that they are geographically related. The tenderer is free to schedule the pick-ups during the week, however, some of the Customers may have specific opening days and times that the tenderer must take into account.

The framework agreement is not exclusive and benefits under the framework agreement can therefore be purchased from a third party. This access is expected to be used in particular if the Customers have special requirements as to which supplier to use.
