New construction of a triple sports hall at Dietrich Bonhoeffer Gymnasium in Wertheim - Architect services in accordance with HOAI Part 3 Section 1, §§33 et seq. — Object planning Buildings and interiors, service phases 5 to 9, optionally preceded by performance phase 4, the client reserves the right to special services as required. There is no entitlement to commission. Phases 1 to 3 were not awarded externally as HOAI services, but were provided by the city council of Wertheim in its own effort.

The site of the new sports hall is located on the southwestern outskirts of Wertheim in a hillside situation that drops relatively steeply into the Tauber Valley. The site of the new triple sports hall will be built within the old site. A new residential area is being considered in the area for further urban development. The location of the new triple sports hall is very favourable in terms of school use, as a large number of students can reach the hall on foot or by bicycle in a short time. The administration has dealt intensively with various hall concepts and has coordinated them several times with the user. The plan developed from this for the new triple sports hall essentially includes a 27 x 45 m triple sports hall for purely sporting use. It is divided into the single-storey area with triple sports hall and gymnastics room, as well as the two-storey ancillary area with equipment rooms and sanitary area.

The inlining is to be carried out in solid construction. The insulation is to be implemented according to the passive house standard in order to reduce winter energy losses to a minimum. Triple-glazed thermal insulation windows are planned. The roof construction is made of wood glued beams and perforated trapezoidal sheet shells with thermal insulation.

The sports hall will be connected to the existing heat supply of the grammar school on an interim basis. A final connection to a new heat generation plant is carried out during the development of the urban residential area.

The roof surface is statically prepared for the installation of photovoltaic modules for solar power generation. It is possible to equip the roof area with 300 m² PV modules.

The cost calculation shows total net costs of around 6.8 million euros (KE200 to KG700), of which approximately 3.8 million euros are KE300 and approx. 1.3 million euros KG400.

The schedule depends on outstanding funding commitments, but the advertised services should start in the second quarter of 2022 if possible.
