Dt. Center f. Air and water Spaceflight (DLR) Construction of an institute f. Software Methods Structural Design
Specialist planning of structural design.
For the German Aerospace Center (DLR), a new building for the Institute for Software Methods for Product Visualization is to be planned at the location in the immediate vicinity of the high-performance computer of the TU Dresden. The requirements according to the room program have to be implemented. It is a 5-storey (including basement) building with a main floor area of 1 427 m 2 and a gross floor area of approx. 2,700 m 2 , The Institute for Software Methods for Product Virtualization deals with the research and development of informatics / technical and software-methodical basics for the description and realization of the virtual product in aviation on the basis of high-quality, multidisciplinary simulation methods. Due to the predominantly intellectual and creative work tasks, all office workers are mainly required office workplaces. The institute is also a service provider for other institutions in all research areas. For this purpose, an exchange via video and telephone conferences, especially in the context of working groups, is necessary. Meeting rooms and a meeting and conference room are planned for this purpose. According to the documents submitted, a total of 90 permanent employees are envisaged for the DLR Institute. In addition, 10 jobs are planned for temporary scientific or student assistants working at the DLR Institute. In the course of the project planning services the draft document construction (EW construction) is to be created. The basis for this is the decision document Bau (ES-Bau) produced by the client.
In the further course of planning, the principles of energy-efficient and sustainable construction must be taken into account.
The funding is 100% ERDF. The specifications of the funding agency must therefore be observed.
The total cost framework established in preparation for this procedure amounts to EUR 10.32 million gross for the KG 200-700. Of this, the gross value of KG 300 = approx. 4.773 million EUR and the KG 400 = approx. 2.375 million EUR gross.
The project is scheduled to start in November 2019 and completion by August 2023.
