The cath. Hospital Hagen in accordance with GmbH intends to close Elsey Hospital with its somatic departments of surgery, internal medicine, ENT and gynecology and to convert it into a specialist clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy. The aim is to merge the psychiatric department of Hagen Hospital with the existing psychiatry at the Elsey site. To implement this measure, considerable replanning and conversion measures are required. Various construction services are to be advertised and awarded for this purpose.
The measure described is carried out with funds from the hospital structure fund according to §§ 1ff. Hospital Financing Act (KHG) funded.
The existing Elsey hospital is to be converted into a specialist clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy. For this purpose, the existing building is to undergo considerable reconstruction measures. As this is a conversion during ongoing operation, it will be carried out in three construction phases. The conversion measures are expected to start in January 2022 and be completed by the end of 2025.
The subject matter of this process is construction work in all three construction phases.
In all construction phases, the spatial structures of the existing building will be changed and adapted to use for psychiatric and psychotherapeutic purposes.
A separate riser for drinking water is planned in each part of the building. This is linked to the consumers on a level by floor basis, so that a clear line network is created. The drinking water is prepared via fresh water stations in the basement. The entire network is equipped with hot water circulation. To reduce heat transfer through the fittings, consumers are connected via double-walled disks for PWC and individual supply lines at PWH.
The patient rooms are equipped with ready-made wet rooms installed on site. These wet rooms are connected to prepared shut-off facilities in the ceiling area with PWC, PWH and a DN 80 exhaust air connection.
The quantities and work to be carried out can be found in the attached specifications.
