In the underground car park at the station, the false ceiling and the supports of the lower parking level show intensive damage as a result of many years of chloride exposure. According to the available expert opinion, the renovation is to take place in 2024 due to the advanced damage.

In the course of the construction project, the operating technology (HLS and electrical) must also be renovated.

Scope of engineering services according to HOAI: Work phases 1 - 9

The approximately 200 m long and approx. 16.5 m wide underground car park at the station (built in 1985/1986) consists of two basement floors and was built in 1985/1986 with a bored pile wall and a reinforced concrete cover (lid construction) above it. The false ceiling was then erected in the interior as a flat ceiling on individual supports. The ceiling is line-mounted on the bored pile wall on a reinforced concrete wall in front and does not introduce any loads into the bored pile wall as planned. The total usable area of the underground car park is approx. 5,600 m².

In a first planning step, the renovation options (repair / renewal) must be prepared with regard to costs, construction time and durability. Since the scope and thus also the costs as well as the construction time for the renovation of the operating technology (HLS and electrical) are directly related to the renovation possibilities for the false ceiling, it is planned to outsource the planning service for all trades (object and structural engineering, MEP and electrical planning) to a contractor.
