As part of the redevelopment decision of the Städtisches Klinikum München GmbH (MüK) on 29.07.2015, the administration was commissioned to develop a reuse concept for medical-related uses for the freed-up areas of the clinic locations. The reuse concept for the Schwabing site was decided by the city council on 13.12.2017.
House 3 is a former ward block and today's ward building of the Munich Clinic. The building was already returned to the City of Munich on 01.01.2016. The floor area is approx. 9,000m² with 4 floors plus basement and attic. The transitional building house 3a is included in the planning envelope. It is planned to be used by the Munich Clinic until the end of 2025. In 2016, the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments also placed the garden courtyards and gardens, as essential components of the hospital complex, under monument protection.
The planning scope of the subject matter of the contract includes ward house 3 on the site of the Klinikum Schwabings (currently Flst. 764/0, Schwabing municipal area) including open spaces.
The total area of the planning area is about 12,000 m².
Basic services are LPH 2 (partial service) to 9 including special services. However, a gradual retrieval is planned. Therefore, for the time being, only Lph 2 will be commissioned. The results will be incorporated into the LHM project mandate and submitted to the city council for resolution. Phases 3 -9 can only be commissioned after the project has been approved by the city council
