Planning and engineering services for the construction of a passive NGA network infrastructure (FTTB) for the community of Waldstetten, including other services.
The municipality is planning to set up an NGA network (FTTB) to remove any remaining “white spots”. In the course of the federal funding program “White Spots”, the municipality of Waldstetten receives funding to support broadband expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany in accordance with guideline 3.2. The rough cost estimate for fiber optic expansion FTTB from February 22, 2021 shows the total net costs of EUR 3 729 800.95.
Quantities regarding fiber optic expansion FTTB white spots including commercial area and schools according to rough planning:
- Route length of paved surface approx. 13 600 running meters,
- Route length of unpaved surface approx. 4 100 running meters,
- Cable pull approx. 22 600 running meters,
- Number of house connections approx. 70 pieces,
- Number of pre-stretching approx. 150 pieces.
Necessary groundbreaking due to the start of construction according to the federal funding decision: before 12.12.2021 !!
The municipality of Waldstetten is a member of Komm.Pakt.Net (municipal pact for network expansion, municipal institution under public law, Neue Straße 40, 89073 Ulm).
The network operator is NetCom BW GmbH, Unterer Brühl 2, 73479 Ellwangen.
The current planning status is an existing expansion concept for the municipality of Waldstetten as well as the rough cost estimate for fiber optic expansion FTTB from December 12, 2019, created by the engineering office GEO DATA, Westhausen.
Already completed routes:
In the course of the expansion of the backbone and various co-relocations, routes have already been created and some of them have been put into operation. The existing routes are to be integrated into the planning. The data is provided by the municipality as a shape file.
