Koy Espoo Otakaari 5 (Business ID: 2851119-5) hereinafter referred to as the “Subscriber” or the “Contracting Entity” requests candidates to submit an application for participation in the competitive negotiation procedure in accordance with the procurement notice published and this request for participation.
Aalto University Real Estate Oy competes the acquisition for and on behalf of Koy Espoo Otakaari 5, a real estate company acting as a procurement entity. The electronic Hanki service is utilized for competition.
The request for participation concerns the tasks of the main operator of the Otakaari 5 Otakaari 5L project in Koy Espoo. In addition to the tasks of the main executor, the party responsible for building engineering tasks (e.g. a company) should be appointed in the request for participation. The total gross frequency of the project is approximately 6248 BRM² in area.
The main implementer refers to the supplier who includes the tasks of the main executor and the general contractor, as well as the management of planning and execution.
The acquisition is the subject of the renovation of Otaniemi in Otaniemi, Espoo, and the co-operation of the used-purpose revision project, which includes the tasks of the main executor.
The acquisition will be carried out provided and to the extent that Aalto University (Aalto University Foundation sr) approves progress on the project. The acquisition is conditional on the positive decision-making of Aalto University Foundation sr.
The request for participation concerns the tasks of the main operator of the Otakaari 5 Otakaari 5L project in Koy Espoo. In addition to the tasks of the main executor, the party responsible for building engineering tasks (e.g. a company) should be appointed in the request for participation.
The scope of the project is about 6248 brm2. Originally, the L wing of the building has served as a high voltage laboratory and the building contains several laboratory facilities as well as a high voltage hall. The building has operated in use similar to its original use since its completion. The building has undergone no major renovations except for the partial renewal of the water roof in 2006.
In the project, the L-wing will be renovated and the use of the building will be changed to a studio and workshop building at Aalto University School of Arts and Design. Due to the way of use, the existing premises of the building are being modified and, in particular, acoustic and soundproofing solutions require exceptional floor, wall and ceiling structures and surfaces.
The site will be 1-phase and project operations will start tentatively in September 2022, with demolition work starting tentatively in November 2022. Completion tentatively in early 2024.
The main executor refers to the supplier who includes the duties of the main executor and the general contractor, as well as the management of design and execution.
The acquisition is the subject of the renovation of Otaniemi in Otaniemi, Espoo, and the work of the purpose modification project, which includes the tasks of the main operator. The preliminary content and timetable of the project are described in more detail in the construction programme attached to Annex 3. The mandate includes tasks under the construction programme. The project relates to campus development in accordance with Aalto University's strategy. The construction program will evolve during the negotiation process.
The acquisition will be carried out by Aalto University Real Estate Ltd on behalf and on behalf of the mutual real estate limited company Koy Otakaari 5. A partnership agreement is concluded with Otakaari 5 Koy (C ID: 2851119-5). Aalto University Real Estate Ltd is to achieve the implementation of the construction format for the implementation of the Otakaari 5L project, in which the entire project organization undertakes cooperation and help Aalto University Real Estate Ltd achieve the best outcome for the project.
