The objective of this procurement is to meet the needsfof the Norwegian Armed Forces of EOD X-ray systems for use in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and improvised explosive device disposal (IEDD) operations. The scope is 28 such systems, in adition to four units in option.

The EOD X-ray system consists of the following funtional system elements;

- Dual energy module

- X-ray source

- Imager

- X-ray software

- Computer

- Communication

- Auxiliaries

- Transport cases

The EOD X-ray system should have a Dual Energy Module enabling the system to differentiate between organic and inorganic materials.

The EOD X-ray system should be able to use x-rays sources alerady in use by the Norwegian Armed Forces. Our x-ray sources are GE XR-200 and GE XRS-3.
