The district administration of the Westerwaldkreis in Montabaur - hereinafter referred to as the client - intends to award the procurement of price-bound textbooks and media in the school year 2023/24 for the district-owned schools within the framework of textbook lending. The service is described in more detail in the bill of quantities.

The tender covers the supply of publishing products (textbooks & media) and commercial services with an estimated turnover of approximately EUR 300,000 net.

This contract value will be awarded in 7 lots. The individual lots include several schools.

Reference is made to the legal requirements of the Book Price Fixing Act. Offers that violate these provisions will be excluded from the procedure.

An evaluation of the offers according to the criterion "price" does not apply, as this cannot be used due to the fixed book price. The customary services in connection with the delivery of textbooks, which are permitted in accordance with the BuchPrG, shall be provided by the contractor in a binding manner and free of charge.
