The Contract is for the provision of a kerbside and backdoor (assisted lift) collection service for organic materials from domestic premises throughout the Borough of Newtownabbey and for the delivery of specified core materials outlined in the tender documentation to a designated processing facility. Total number of households is approximately 34 000. Participation levels are currently averaging approximately 20 000.
