The former MOZ art school (built in 1955-57) is to be renovated. The horseshoe area of the former Mozart School, which is a listed building to the south, will be used for 4 different purposes in the future: the University of Music (HfM), the municipal singing and music school (SuM9), a municipal event area and the MOZartfest office including administration. The following measures are carried out:
- Adaptation of the functional structure, which has remained unchanged since the 1950s, to the changed conditions.
- exchange of used house technology systems for up-to-date requirements and legal regulations.
- Adapt to the changed legal basis for fire protection.
Protection of any subsequent third-party rental / changes of ownership.
- Fulfilment of sound insulation and room acoustics requirements with a view to future uses.
