In 2022, the listed World War II bunker at Frohnhauser Straße 95 was cut on the western side of the bunker so that space could be made for further shoring and slope stabilization of the Berthold-Beitz-Boulevard.

After the partial demolition of the bunker wall in 2022, the bunker remained with two

5 m2 recesses in the western wall. The wall itself remained cut with exposed reinforcing iron.

Due to the progressive erosion of the concrete in the recesses, they are to be cleaned and bricked. Subsequently, the western side will be visually adapted with shotcrete and made more weather-resistant.

The construction site shares an entrance with the existing construction site of the police training ground. Therefore, an agreement will be necessary here and the construction logistics will be adapted accordingly.
