1. The subject of the contract is the execution of construction works / Investment entitled: "Improvement of the quality of life of residents in urban areas through the construction and modernization of city parks in Katowice"

2. The purpose of the proceedings - comprehensive construction of two new parks and modernization of three existing parks.

4. The Contracting Authority has divided the subject of the contract into the following five parts:

1) Part No. 1 – "Construction of a park at Wantuły Street in Katowice"

2) Part No. 2 - "Revitalization and extension of the park in Wełnowiec in Katowice"

3) Part No. 3 – "Construction of a park at Leopolda/LeRonda Street in Katowice"

4) Part No. 4 – "Modernization of the park in the valley of the Ślepiotka River in Katowice",

5) Part No. 5 – "Revitalization of the area at the Kayak Pond in the Katowice Forest Park".

The subject of the contract includes new land development refers to the existing landscape, introducing natural, pro-ecological and friendly elements for the flora and fauna living in this area, emphasizes the natural character of the designed park, enables safe use of the park and contact with nature, and takes into account the assumptions of climate policy. The designed layout of pedestrian routes, park zones and elements of the terrain device is aimed at creating new landscape interiors, recreation and recreation zones, determining the viewing axes and accentuating the entrances to the park. Due to the large number of existing trees and shrubs within the boundaries of the development and the design assumptions regarding the preservation of the natural wetland nature of the designed park, no interference with the water relations of this area is envisaged. All park paths - will be designed as water-permeable mineral-resin and as wooden platforms on stilts in the wetland area in the vicinity of the unnamed lagoon. The following park zones connected by naturally shaped pedestrian routes are designated:

- entrance zones to the Park (from the east, west and south);

- a play and recreation area for children;

- sports recreation zone with a "bare foot" path;

- a nature education zone at the lagoon/pond with educational games;

- recreation and meeting zone for residents (with barbecue);

- chat room - a viewing and observation point on a wooden platform;

- a buffer zone with insulating greenery separating the park from the neighboring single-family residential buildings and streets;

- zones of specially shaped ornamental greenery: flower meadows, grass meadow, water greenery;

- an environmental zone with a lower maintenance (care) need, which is part of the idea of adapting to climate change.

The subject of the contract includes: land development and its arrangement; reconstruction and renovation of the existing communication network: construction of paths for the roller coaster from paved asphalt surface; paving of permeable paths, location of new routes on existing paths; construction of a track for cyclists (pump track); terrain stairs; execution of lighting and power connection; water-sewage connections, rainwater management in the area; small architecture; renewal of the entrance gate and execution of a new gate; liquidation of the existing playground with a physical activity zone and design of new devices; creation of a multifunctional court on the territory of old volleyball and basketball courts; the creation of a dog run; maintenance-free toilet; locating a chillout zone with hammocks, rest areas and designating barbecue areas; creation of a viewpoint on the park; designation of a place for sledding; creation of an educational and natural zone equipped with elements such as: boards and educational games (e.g. expanding knowledge about: family species of plants and animals, information on the role of water and soil in nature, renewable energy), houses for insects; planting trees, shrubs, creepers and perennials; rain garden with plantings of water-loving and water-bearing plant species, which will serve as the so-called green classroom, i.e. an educational and natural zone where outdoor lessons and classes can be carried out to expand knowledge about family species of plants and animals, about the role of water and soil in nature, renewable energy; creation of an area with natural meadow vegetation, designation of an ecological zone with less demand for maintenance and care in line with the idea of adaptation to climate change; taking into account the care of existing and designed vegetation; designation of places for separate collection of waste located underground.

2. The following functional and spatial zones of the park have been designed: 1) entrance zones; 2) movement activity zones (including: roller skate, pump track, toboggan hill, etc.); 3) playground; 4) recreation zone for pets; 5) relaxation zones with rest areas and barbecue areas; 6) flower glades and meadows; 7) environmental education zone; 8) viewing zone; 9) toilet area.

The subject of the contract includes: land development and its arrangement; implementation of the communication network: paving of permeable paths, location of new routes on existing paths; terrain stairs; execution of lighting and power connection; water-sewage connections. , rainwater management; small architecture; playground and educational and educational zone for children; arranging the space as a green labyrinth, a sensory garden with educational elements, a green tunnel; elements of ecological education, including an ecological meadow, information boards, nature and educational games, hotels for insects, nesting boxes for birds, educational elements related to birds and habitats; establishment of the so-called "bird fire station" – an area with abundantly flowering and fruiting species; construction of observation platforms and a tower for observing water birds; designation of a relaxation zone with places for rest, designated space for grilling; maintenance-free toilet; arrangement of tables with regulations; planting trees, shrubs, perennials and creepers; creation of an area with natural meadow vegetation, designation of an ecological zone with less demand for maintenance and care in line with the idea of adaptation to climate change; care of existing and designed vegetation; designation of sites for the separate collection of waste located underground; protection of trees and shrubs on the construction site.

2. The following functional and spatial zones of the park have been designed: 1) entrance zones to the park; 2) a zone of physical activity; 3) a playground with a sensory path; 4) a relaxation zone with rest areas and barbecue areas;

5) glades and flower meadows; 6) environmental education zone; 7) viewing zone; 8) toilet zone.

The subject of the contract includes:

- construction of pedestrian surfaces;

- construction of playgrounds, a dog park and a community garden;

- location of small architecture objects – park furniture (benches, trash cans, bicycle racks);

- construction of an educational path;

- construction of a network of lighting and park monitoring.

Construction (setting, execution) is assumed:

- pedestrian surface made of concrete cubes and natural/mineral surface;

- terrain stairs;

- installation of lighting and power supply of the stage;

- small architecture (benches, baskets, city loungers, bicycle racks);

- terrain walls;

- reconstruction of the stage;

- reconstruction of the northern part of the auditorium and demolition of the auditorium in the southern part;

- execution of works consisting in leveling the area;

- execution of greenery works (see technical design of greenery).
