The framework agreement deals with the purchase and installation of traffic management and monitoring equipment, the dismantling of old equipment and individual repairs. The services will be provided in the form of mandates covered by the framework agreement.

Assignments include one or more services from the following list: hardware procurement, hardware installation, bug fixes, and hardware removal. Equipment installations, fault repairs and dismantling assignments may also include, where appropriate, the design of work and traffic arrangements and the practical implementation of the traffic arrangement. Assignments can also be defined so that equipment purchases and equipment installations are separate assignments if the customer sees fit for the purpose of this purchase.

As a rule, mandates are mini-competitively awarded to selected suppliers in the framework contract. Some of the assignments may also be awarded to non-competitive suppliers of the framework agreement on a direct basis or on a non-discriminatory basis.

Device installations may be procured in whole or in part, such that the assignment may include one or more of the following: installation planning, traffic planning, traffic implementation, device rack installation, device installation, device configuration, device testing, and device deployment. If the order is procured by the subscriber as a complete service, the order will include all of the above work.

The framework agreement covers, inter alia: traffic control and monitoring equipment such as cameras, traffic measuring equipment (LML, LAM), road weather stations (TSA), cabinets and switchboards (LOK), UPS and traffic control equipment such as interchangeable signage and center lane booms. In addition to these, telecommunication switches and various cables, as well as other accessories and their installation, can be obtained through the framework arrangement.
