EU tender for Vestegnens Kraftvarmeselskab I/S ("VEKS") for the performance of Major Overhaul maintenance services for VEKS' steam turbine incl. generator located at Køge Kraftvarmeværk.

Vestegnens Kraftvarmeselskab I/S ("VEKS") offers a contract for the performance of service/revision of steam turbine incl. generator located at Køge Kraftvarmeværk. The turbine and generator were built in 1997 and minor planned and accident-based maintenance is carried out annually. To ensure continued reliable, safe and efficient operation of the turbine and generator, a Major Overhaul must be carried out, which is the largest single maintenance performed on turbines. In the present tender, VEKS wants to have a Major Overhaul performed on both the turbine part and the generator part.

Broadly speaking, the following is performed by a Major Overhaul, for both:

- Separation of turbine, generator and auxiliary equipment

- Possible shipment of parts to workshop at supplier

- Conducting inspection and conducting tests in an impure state and then again after cleaning parts

- Condition control of the turbine in relation to being able to determine the future service life

- Turbine rotor balancing

- Change of any worn spare parts

- Possible shipment of parts to Køge CHP plant

- Assembly of all parts, making relevant measurements and commissioning
