Dansens Hus shall renew and upgrade the stage mechanics on the Main Stage.
The existing 22 chain hoists with a maximum lifting capacity of 350 kg gross and the accompanying frequency transformers shall be replaced with new, quieter winches with a cable spool and with a minimum lifting capacity of 400 kg net.
A control system shall be installed for this.
The current pulley system is built up with chain hoists and frequency transformers, which work horizontally. The hoists pull 7 cables via a distribution plate, which lift a 48 mm steel pipe. The steel pipe is approx. 16 m long. The lifting height is approx. 8 metres. The pulleys have a variable speed, with a maximum speed of 12 m/min. All the pulleys can be set in motion simultaneously. The maximum lifting capacity per pulley is 350 kg gross. The concentrated load is set to 100 kg under the cable fastenings and 75 kg midway between two cables.
We would like to replace the current chain hoists with winches and cable spools. As a starting point, we would like to keep the current lifting principle with the motors working horizontally. As a starting point we would also like to keep the current cables, blocks and pulleys. Thus, only the motor with frequency transformers shall be replaced.
We would like a new control system for this, which must be very reliable and it must be based on technology that is upgradable with modules that are replaceable over the course of many years.
