Ratingen Renewal Ventilation

The Bergisch-Rheinische Wasserverband intends to comprehensively renew the aeration systems of the biology on the Ratingen power plant. After an operating life of 25 years, the turbocompressors are not only economically depreciated, but due to the significant age-related wear and high energy consumption, a renewal is also recommended, which is associated with significant energy savings due to technical development. In addition, the existing process engineering mode of operation of the upstream denitrification is to be converted to intermittent ventilation and the existing ventilation installation in the basins is to be replaced by a new plate ventilation.
