Vefsn municipality wishes to enter into a parallel framework agreement for larger and smaller projects, as we need the following:

- Hourly hire of excavators

- Hire of excavation services per metre

The contracting authority intends to enter into a parallel framework agreement with up to 3 tenderers. The framework agreement will be valid for 2 years, with an option for an extension for 1+1 year, to a total of 4 years. Expected initiation date: 01.03.2024.

The contracting authority refers to the tender documentation for further information on the contest and content. The agreement is intended to be used in projects where the contracting authority primarily carries out the project in internally, but where there is a need for hiring extra machinery and equipment for the execution. The agreement can also be used for smaller and larger projects where the contracting authority is only responsible for the project management, as well as smaller projects where the contracting authority wishes to outsource engineering design and responsible contractors. The agreement can also be used for occurring work, for example if water and sewage pipes break and/or leak. 

Larger and more complex projects will be conducted separately outside the framework agreement, or as mini contest for the suppliers included in this agreement, as long as the contracting authority does not exceed the annual estimated contract value.

If anything is unclear to the tenderers or there is a need for clarification, we request that the tenderers give feedback to the contracting authority via the communication portal.

The agreement has an estimated and approximate annual value of NOK 20,000,000 excluding VAT. The estimate is based on the current agreement, as well as the municipality's own plan for projects over the next four-year period.
