The state capital Magdeburg intends to expand and refurbish the elementary school Westerhüsen.

For this purpose, a new building will be added to the existing building.

The commissioning of the planning services takes place gradually and initially only the preliminary planning is called.

Planning services of the technical equipment (equipment groups 4, 5 and 6) for the extension and rehabilitation of a primary school with a shelter.

The aim is to renovate the existing building (monument protection) and to complete it with a new extension, or to connect both buildings.

The areas of the existing school building and the extension building are to be extended for classroom and subject-specific classrooms (2-tack) as well as the hoard. According to the space program, the effective area will be approx. 1 379.09 m 2 (New building) and 2 424 m 2 Stock assessed. It should be noted that on the adjacent parcel (parcel 1530/2) in a separate construction phase, a single-field sports hall is planned, which is not the subject of the measure published here.
