This procurement seeks to establish one contract for a dark fibre pair between the Budapest Point of Presence in the GÉANT network and the Data Centre Location (Wigner) for CERN. Fibre pairs should be diversely routed from an existing route between Wigner and the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva.

The Bidder must also provide a Service NOC (Network Operating Centre) that will provide a break-fix service and supply information to GEANT on the Budapest local segment in order for GEANT to be able to act as a single point of contact for all issues relating to the circuit operations. No co-location of equipment or other facilities are required.

Contracts that may be awarded from this procurement will run for a maximum term of 3 years with the option of two 1 year extensions.
