Rakkestad and Sarpsborg Municipalities have decided to introduce separate containers for source sorting of food waste for households, holiday home waste management, and municipal entities. Biodegradable bags in plastic for food waste (hereafter called biobags) will thus be introduced.

The contracting authority for this procurement is Rakkestad Municipality, on behalf of the following municipalities:

Rakkestad Municipality (org. no. 945 372 281),

Sarpsborg Municipality (org. no. 938 801 363).

Rakkestad Municipality (henceforth referred to as the contracting authority), in accordance with the law and regulations on public procurements, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for the procurement of biobags and baskets for food waste on behalf of Rakkestad Municipality and Sarpsborg Municipality.

Rakkestad and Sarpsborg Municipalities have decided to introduce separate containers for source sorting of food waste for households, holiday home waste management, and municipal entities. Biodegradable plastic bags for food waste (hereafter called biobags) will thus be introduced.

The biobags must be made of biological degradable plastic and suitable for food waste. The food waste bags must be distributed and ready for use during autumn 2023.

One contract will be established per municipality, which will be treated as two separate contracts.

The contract has a unilateral option for an extension of 1+1 year.
