Avinor shall expand central areas at Stavanger Airport Sola (USO1). The expansion consists of expanding the departure hall and storage building which has already begun, as well as expanding the arrivals and customs area (this announcement). The area of the new building is approximately 4 500 m² divided in 3 floors of various sizes.
This contract involves pipe technical installations at the arrival area.
Examples of work which may be included in the contract V10:
— Refrigerating machines/heat pump;
— Connection to a district heating system;
— Pipe system for heating, floor heating and radiators;
— Pipe system for ice water and fan coils;
— Sprinkler valves and sprinkler system;
— Building sewers;
— Roof water;
— Sanitary installations.
The main equipment shall be installed in technical rooms in the third floor, with four ventilation generators which shall be connected to heating and refrigerating. The sprinkler valves shall be installed in separate rooms. Sprinkler systems shall be installed in the new building as well as parts of the existing buildings. The pipe system shall be in shafts and ceilings. Accurate assembly is required, in relation to other installations, ducts, valves, cableways, lights, etc.
The airport shall be in normal operation while the construction works are executed, and the contractors must adapt to the general public and travellers in accordance with instructions from the construction management. Loud works can only be executed in specified periods. Avinor place great emphasis on commissioning and testing being executed in a thorough manner, prior to handing over the facility.
