On behalf of the participating member houses, EK-UNICO GmbH intends to conclude a framework agreement with a supplier for the supply of centrifuges.

EK-UNICO GmbH assumes the role of a central awarding authority according to § 120 Abs. 4 GWB. Contracting authorities in the sense of the contracting entities entitled to call are the participating contracting authorities.

The member houses of EK-UNICO GmbH involved in the procedure and the cooperation partners of Sana Einkauf und Logistik GmbH, including the respective criteria for the award of individual orders and their weighting, can be found in Appendix 3.

The contracting authorities in the present award procedure are the member houses of EK-UNICO GmbH and the cooperation partners Sana Einkauf & Logistik GmbH, which are listed in Appendix 3.

As a leading purchasing group in the German healthcare market, EK-UNICO GmbH currently represents the interests of 13 university hospitals in Germany. EK-UNICO GmbH currently stands for 300 specialist clinics and more than 240 institutes in the affiliated member houses.

Sana Kliniken AG is the third largest private hospital group in Germany. The Sana clinics comprise 52 hospitals and five retirement and nursing homes. For more than 30 years, Sana Einkauf & Logistik GmbH has been a strong partner for clinics of all kinds in all matters relating to the purchase of medical products. As part of a constant increase in cooperation partners in the Sana purchasing group, publicly-owned hospitals have increasingly joined it, which are bound by procurement law as public contracting authorities within the meaning of §§ 98, 99 No. 2 of the Act against Restraints of Competition (GWB). In order to enable hospitals that are contracting authorities to procure consumables and capital goods in accordance with procurement law, Sana Einkauf & Logistik GmbH carries out these procurement procedures in accordance with GWB procurement law.

The framework agreement has a duration of 2 (two) years.

The framework agreement attached to the procurement documents (Annex 2) applies.

The offer must be accompanied by a technical data sheet for each example centrifuge, from which the centrifuge type and its equipment components (exploded view) can be taken. Each position shall be priced. Missing information leads to exclusion from the procedure if it cannot be requested subsequently, cf. § 56 ff. VgV. In addition, the currently valid price list for the corresponding product groups must be attached to the offer. The successful bidder guarantees the prices indicated in the attached price list over the duration of the framework agreement.
