Ringerike kommune wants to receive tender offers on the delivery of polymer, Pax and iron chloride.

Ringerike kommune has operational responsibility for a total of 7 sewage treatment plants. These are Monserud RA, Hallingby RA, Sokna RA, Tyristrand RA, Nakkerud RA, Nes i Ådal RA and Ringmoen RA. (RA being Renseanlegg — Sewage Treatment Plant). Monserud RA is the largest facility with approx. 3 000 000 m3 treated waste water quantity, and it is the only 1 of the facilities with secondary sludge treatment. The sludge treatment includes receiving of the external sludge (sludge from the other facilities and septic), digestion installations, thickeners, as well as de-watering in the centrifuges. Polymer is used for de-watering in the centrifuges. The municipality also processes sludge from the HRA municipalities (Jevnaker, Lunner, Hole and Gran).
