The Norwegian Centre for ICT in Education requests a supplier whom can operate their IT-environment.

The center's operational needs can be divided into three main categories:

— The first category is the basic operation, operating system, a physical server farm, virtualized servers, surveillance, emergency preparedness and similar operations.

— The second type is support systems which shall be operated by the supplier, often based on off the shelf products. Examples of this type of services are e-mail, booking of rooms, calendars, directory server, DHCP, VPN and storage-/backup servers. Parts of the administration of these services shall often be done through the center's own operations department.

— The last type of need is the application management of customized web applications, such as the center's own website's: www.iktsenteret.no and career guidance portal: wwww.utdanning.no

The framework agreement which shall be entered into shall have a duration of 2 years. The Awarding Authority shall also have a unilateral right to extend the contract for an additional 1 + 1 year(s).
