Supply of the Multi-Mission Parachute (PMM) system and associated support system

The purpose of this contract is the supply of the two-seat parachute system called Multi-Mission Parachute (PMM) and the associated support system. This parachute must allow the operational fallers to have a passenger carrying capacity or a consequent total equipped mass associated with high finesse performance (two modes of action: very high jump and very far from the objective followed by an infiltration phase under sail, jump very high on the target followed by a low opening).

The content of this contract provides for the development and supply of the main system (parachute sub-assemblies, passenger harness, training and tactical transport) and the supply of the corresponding support system.

This draft contract is subject to the procedure with negotiation in accordance with the provisions of Articles L 2324-1, L 2324-3, R 2324-1, R 2324-3, R 2361-1, R 2361-8 to R 2361-12 of the Public Order Code (CCP).

Pursuant to Article R.2313-2 of the SPC, the performance of the contract is divided into tranches.

Under the firm and optional tranches, it is planned to acquire 258 PMM parachutes.

The contract also provides for the possibility of acquiring additional equipment and services on purchase orders pursuant to Articles R.2362-1 to R.2362-6 and R.2362-8 of the SPC. The maximum amount of the purchase order share is €12 million excluding VAT.

Pursuant to Articles R 2372-19 to R 2372-21 of the SPC, the contract may present significant technical hazards, it will include a share of supplies and services that could not be precisely defined in the initial public contract.

This draft contract is subject to the procedure with negotiation in accordance with the provisions of Articles L 2324-1, L 2324-3, R 2324-1, R 2324-3, R 2361-1, R 2361-8 to R 2361-12 of the Public Order Code.
