The procurement includes school transports in the municipality of Ruovesi.

The contract period is the academic years 2023–2024 and 2024–2025. Transportation takes place between 07:30 and 16:00, with the exception of school Christmas and spring festivals. There may be school days during the school year when transportation is not required, these are always reported separately.

Transportation can be by car, minibus or bus. At the same time, the routes function as open public and service traffic whenever possible.

For each of the mentioned routes, a car is selected based on the offer. In addition, other operators who have submitted tenders can also be used on all routes, if necessary. The offer may also be accepted as a partial offer. The combination of separate offers is done by the subscriber. The closure of the school during the contract period will transfer the bids targeted to the route of the defunct school to the use of other routes that are the subject of the invitation to tender, unless the tenderer has prohibited the transfer of the tender.

Before the start of the school year, the operator will be provided with a list of students participating in the transport. The provider must note that the student lists may change during the contract period.

The tenderer may designate the routes to which the tender applies. The offer can also be made without route restrictions. Routes can also be combined. When offering, the size of the cars and the number of students on the route should be taken into account. The customer selects a car suitable for the number of people transported on the route at any given time.

The driver must ensure that passengers' seat belts are fastened during the journey.
