Park School conversion to primary school Rüsselsheim; Elevator systems
The city of Rüsselsheim am Main intends to convert the Park School from a former secondary school to an inclusive, full-time, 3.5-speed primary school.
Both the main building and the sports hall wing, as well as the canteen building, will be retained and renovated or structurally adapted to the new usage requirements. The intermediate building will be demolished and replaced by a new 3-storey intermediate wing. The extension will be demolished. In its place, a modern two-storey new cluster building is being built.

Goal: Conversion of the Park School from a former secondary school to an inclusive, full-time, 3.5-speed primary school.
The planned construction project consists of three phases:
1. New construction of cluster and intermediate wing
2. Renovation of the sports hall, canteen and outbuildings
3. Refurbishment of the main building
In the run-up to the measure, the extension from 1963 and the intermediate building from 1916, which was formerly located on the construction site, were dismantled, and interim areas were created for school operations. During the construction project, the school will remain in operation (partly in an interim building).

Passenger elevator according to EN 81-70 type 4 (corner) in a new concrete shaft in the existing building with 6 access points (6 stops)
Elevator 2 (intermediate wing)
Passenger elevator according to EN 81-70 type 2 (with through-loading) in a new concrete shaft in the new building with 4 access points (4 stops)
Elevator 3 (Cluster Building)
Passenger elevator according to EN 81-70 type 2 (without through-loading) in a new concrete shaft in the new building with 2 stops.
