The municipalities of Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola, Randaberg, Forsand, Finnøy and Rennesøy welcome tenderers to participate in an open tender competition for interpreter services and translation for the listed seven municipalities.

The contract has an estimated annual value of 9 million NOK excluding VAT.

The contract will have a duration of two years with the possibility to extend for 1 year + 1 year.

The contract contains turn-out interpretation, telephone interpretation, video interpretation and translation. The users of the contract are all of the municipalities’ organisations and units, i.a. other refugee services, child welfare, doctor offices (general practitioners), health centres, schools, nursery schools, administration etc. The municipalities have inhabitants from approx. 179 countries, that combined speak over 300 languages.

This competition aims to establish parallel framework agreements.

Contracts will be signed with a maximum of three (3) tenderers.

If more than three tenderers quality, only the tenderers with the highest weighted overall score in the competition will be award contracts. When using the award criteria, a hierarchy ranking of the tenderers will be determined, and call-offs on the contract will follow this ranking. I.E. If tenderer no. 1 on the list cannot deliver, the contracting authority can undertake call-offs with the tenderer listed as no. 2 etc.

The contracting authority will not be available for questions pertaining to the competition in the period 1.7.2019 - 29.7.2019. We want to give a combined answer to all questions the market has regarding the tender documentation. We request that any questions be sent via the communication module in Mercell by the deadline, i.e. at the latest 29.7.2019, 12:00.
