REPLACEMENT NEW SPORTS HALL ILLINGEN

The existing three-field hall in the district of Neunkirchen at Arnold-Fortuin-Straße, 66557 Illingen is in need of fundamental renovation, so that after consideration, it was decided to build a replacement building.

It is planned to construct a triple sports hall with a permanently installed stand, which corresponds to the current state of the art of modern school construction and state-of-the-art technology.

The planning and construction of the triple sports hall is based on DIN 18032

(Sports halls - halls and rooms for sports and multi-purpose use).

The design and approval planning was prepared by the client and provides for a

massive hall with a curtain facade and a roof as a steel truss structure.

It adapts to the rising terrain and presents itself as a 2-storey building next to the bus station. The building has a clear structure. The structure is compact and the thermal envelope is well insulated and airtight. The construction consists of solid components.

The building geometry is simple. The window areas are dimensioned appropriately.

The façade is clearly structured. The foyer for spectators will be on the level

enter the old sports hall. Access for students is at the level of

bus station.

With a clear room height of 7.00 m up to the supporting structure and the stand above the changing rooms, up to 200 people can play or watch sports in the hall.

Side rooms such as spectator toilets and disabled toilets are located upstairs on the spectator level.

The building is not a place of assembly. The maximum number of users is limited to a maximum of 200 people.
