The subject of the contract is: "WFD in Chełm. Winter maintenance services for sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle routes in the seasons 2023/2024, 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 in the field of combating winter slipperiness and snow removal".
The order was divided into 3 tasks:
Task 1 - Winter maintenance services of pavements and pedestrian and bicycle routes in the field of combating winter slipperiness and snow removal at DW829
Task 2 - Winter maintenance services for sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle routes in the field of winter slippery control and snow removal at DW812, DW842 and DW846
Task 3 - Winter maintenance services for pavements and pedestrian and bicycle routes in the field of combating winter slipperiness and snow removal at DW812 and DW843

Snow removal and pavement gritting work - 200 hours in one season
2. As part of the task, the Contractor shall provide the equipment necessary to provide services and maintenance.
3. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to reduce the scope of the contract and change the maximum number of contracted hours according to the actual needs resulting from the prevailing weather conditions or the condition of the pavement surface and pedestrian and bicycle routes, without changing the maximum remuneration as part of the task. The above change does not require an annex to the agreement.
4. The minimum remuneration of the Contractor resulting from the reduction of the scope of the subject matter of the contract shall not be less than 10% of the maximum value of remuneration specified in each season.
5. The Contractor undertakes to perform the contract in accordance with the description of the subject of the contract, the technical specification of the terms and conditions of services related to the operation of equipment for winter maintenance of pavements and pedestrian and bicycle routes, constituting an Appendix to the contract, in a manner that guarantees the appropriate quality of the services provided.
6. As part of the performance of the contract, the Contractor is obliged in particular to:
1) Securing on your own and at your own expense the loading of sand, sand-salt mixture or salt from their storage sites
2) Mechanical or manual snow removal in places inaccessible to equipment – pavements, bicycle paths, dividing islands and pedestrian refuges, along with the management of excess snow on your own in accordance with the bill of quantities and location of services.
3) Uniform spreading of the surface of pavements and bicycle paths along the entire width, it is unacceptable to have discontinuities in gritting.
4) maintaining the equipment intended for the performance of the Agreement and its operation in constant readiness in the period from 30 October, respectively in 2023, 2024, 2025, until the end of the provision of services covered by the Agreement in the seasons 2023/2024, 2024/2025, 2025/2026, i.e. until 30 April in 2024, 2025 and 2026 respectively.
5) ensure constant contact with the staff of the equipment used to perform the Contract, in order to provide the staff with instructions by persons authorized by the Ordering Party and to immediately provide the staff with information about:
• the current condition of sidewalks and bicycle paths,
• the time of commencement and completion of services on individual sections,
• hazards caused by weather conditions,
• other events occurring at the place where the service is provided.
6) provide at their own expense and with their own efforts the current maintenance and repair and overhaul of the equipment.
